Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Mission Cellars. See the Mission Cellars wine making process up close and watch how we produce exquisite wine in an urban environment. You will watch the grapes arrive at our Poway facility and observe each step in the winemaking process until we bottle the finished product and pour it into your glass. After watching the process, you will be treated to a curated tasting of a variety of Mission Cellars wines.

Barrel Tasting

Tickets will be available for Barrel Tasting Events, which will be a chance to taste the barrel before it gets bottled. If you enjoy the taste, you will be able to order futures at a discount. Mission Cellars Barrel Tasting Events will have a celebratory atmosphere that blends the charm and friendliness of Poway with the Mission Cellars innovative and artisanal wines, creating a truly unique experience.

Classes

Mission Cellars offers classes to help you blend your own bottle of wine. The classes will discuss the different varieties of grapes and wines and how to detect subtle differences in flavor. Next, you will learn how to make a wine blend with expert winemaker, Trent. Lastly, you will use your new knowledge to blend your own bottle of wine that you can take home and share with your friends and family. Everyone can become a winemaker at Mission Cellars.​​​​​​​​

Paint & Wine Nights

On select evenings, Mission Cellars will bring in paint instructors to offer paint and wine nights. During these evenings, your will be given 2 hours to paint with friends and family while sipping on the artisanal wines made by Mission Cellars. Prices include paint supplies, instruction. Additionally, wine can be purchased during the event.

Wine & Cheese Pairing

At this Mission Cellars Exclusive Event, you’ll taste and learn about several cheeses and wines. We will discuss the history, production techniques, tasting notes, and thought that goes into each component of the pairings that we taste. By attending this event, we hope that you will discover some new favorites and learn some new tips for when you host your next event at home.
